B-Design3D is a world leader in the creation of accurate and realistic 3D models of urban environments for real-time rendering. Our urban 3D environments are used worldwide in applications and systems for training, simulating, urban and architectural planning, command and control, Geographic Information Systems, and tourism.

We are offering two types of urban visual databases: (1) geo-specific and (2) geo-typical. Geo-specific urban environments are created with accurate geo-data ofby way of our proprietary automatic modeling tool: the Rapid Urban Modeler, or RUM. The urban visual databases created with RUM are made in ultrahigh resolution and are accurate and realistic representations of a modeled urban environment. Real windows, doors, facades, and sloped roofs are applied to all of the buildings. In geo-typical visual databases, all buildings are modeled in their correct locations, contain their correct contours, and are at accurate heights. The buildings’ facades are typical of a modeled environment, providing a credible, cost-effective 3D representation of a given urban area.

B-Design3D creates rich environments for driving simulation. Created with high-resolution source data, these scenes include countless artifacts, features, and items that are crucial for car drivers' training and qualification. For instance, road scenes must include traffic lights, traffic signs, roundabouts, lanes, poles, and sidewalks. In off-road scenes, a driver encounters rocks, vegetation, dirt, mud, ditches, all kind of obstacles, and so on. In visual databases for off-road driving, we use advanced procedural rendering technologies and techniques for terrain enrichment. Those methods facilitate rapid creation and visualization of vast real-time 3D visual databases with countless ultrahigh-resolution artifacts, features, and items without harming display performance
